General Duties
The City of Milaca is accepting applicants for a full-time Public Works Utilities Operator. This position includes maintaining and operating a variety of equipment: pay loader, tractors, grader, street sweeper, dump truck, lawn mowers, snow blowers, snowplows. Maintaining streets including snow removal, grading, and patching. Operations and maintenance of wastewater and water control system, meter reading, locating curb boxes, water and sewer mains, storm sewer and manholes when necessary. Take and test samples, add and adjust chemicals in the water plant. Must be able to respond to emergency or after hour requests and related work as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements
Position will be on-call for 7-day periods on a rotating basis.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must live within 30 minutes of Milaca.
Valid Class B Minnesota Commercial Driver’s license.
Class D Wastewater Certification.
Class C wastewater Certification.
