Approved trail activities include: Biking, hiking, running, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. Dogs are permitted but must be leashed.

Where to park: The main parking lot is located in Recreation Park (435 2nd St NW, Milaca MN 56353).  Limited parking is also available at the south end of the trail system near the entrance to Forest Hill Cemetery and to the west off County Road 112.

Whether you prefer an easy, relaxing ride through The Meadow and Rum River Run, or the more physically challenging terrain of the Sky Hill Trails, the Milaca trails have something to offer riders of all skill and interest levels. This 12-mile single and double-track trail system is nestled within 200 acres of woods, hills and fields along the beautiful and scenic Rum River. An experience you won't forget!

The Meadow offers bikers a gentle ride near the Rum River, which continues through The Pines and Rum River Run, both easy stretches through scenic woodlands along the river. Riders who are looking for a more challenging route will particularly enjoy the Northwoods, the Bog Monster and the Sky Hill sections.
