PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Milaca City Council has scheduled a Public Hearing for Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 6:00 pm. The hearings will be held in the Milaca City Hall, 255 1st Street East, Milaca, MN.
The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comment regarding the City filing a grant application to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) for the water rehabilitation project in the City of Milaca through the state’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, also known as the Small Cities Development Program.
The public hearing will assist the city in identification of community development and housing needs, including the needs of very low- and low-income persons, as well as other needs in the community that might be addressed through the CDBG program. The city will review the proposed CDBG activities, their benefiting location(s), overall cost and proposed financing, and the implementation schedule.
Citizens are encouraged to attend this public hearing to express their views and comments regarding the filing of this grant application.
