Water & Sewer

Both a water/sewer application and a direct payment application for water & sewer service can be found here.

Pets & Other Animals

Dog licenses are issued for a two-year period, and all dogs over the age of four months should have one. The dog license application is available here: Dog License Application
Farm Animals are not allowed in city limits, except within an agricultural district or on a residential lot of at least 10 acres. This includes poultry, fowl, and goats.

Mini-Trucks, UTVs, and Golf Carts

In order to operate legally within city limits, these vehicles need a permit. There's no fee associated with this permit, but it must be on file. The permit application can be found here: Mini-Truck / UTV / Golf Cart Permit

Building Permits

Any new building or remodeling project does need a building permit, which can be found here: Building Permits. There are also resources to educate yourself about various home projects at the bottom of that page.

Driver and Vehicle Licensing

The Milaca Deputy Registrar handles licensing for the State of Minnesota. Appointments are recommended, and can be made by calling (320)983-3143 or online at cityofmilaca.org/deputy-registrar.
